Vegetation and Elevation
The plants that grow in this region change with elevation. This means that as you travel higher up the mountains, different plants are able to survive. The higher the elevation; there are less trees growing and more lichens, moss, and tiny plants. At lower elevations in mountain valleys, you will find beautiful wildflowers growing.
